Appendix A fly ash fineness test method for test standard of fly ash in cement and concrete and the applications of air jet sieve stipulates that fineness test of fly ash use the principle, structure, composition and test procedure of the negative sieve analyzer. It is applicable to the test of fly ash fineness.
The principle of this method is to use the air flow as the power and medium of the sieve, and make the powder material in the sieve to be measured in flow state through the air flow action of rotating nozzle. Under the action of the negative pressure of the whole system, the fine particles are removed through the sieve, and the coarse particles are left on the surface of the sieve, so as to achieve the purpose of sieving.
The negative pressure sieve analyzer is mainly composed of 45um (micron) square hole sieve, sieve seat, vacuum source and dust collector. The inner diameter of the 45um (micron) square hole sieve is 150mm, the height is 25mm.
The scale range is not less than 50g, and the minimum dividing value is not greater than 0.01g.,
