AS-500 Powder Integrative Characteristic Tester gives accurate angle of repose/rest, apparent density and hall flow.

-It determine the angle of repose/rest according to ISO 902 Aluminium oxide primarily used for the production of aluminium -- Measurement of the angle of repose

The principle consists in measurement of the angle of rest on the basis of the cone of bulk material obtained by passing the product through a funnel from a conventional height on a horizontal and absolutly even plate.

-It determines hall flow rate according to ISO 4490 Metallic powders -- Determination of flow rate by means of a calibrated funnel (Hall flowmeter)

ISO 4490 specifies a method for determining the flow rate of metallic powders, including powders for hardmetals, by means of a calibrated funnel (Hall flowmeter).

he method is applicable only to powders which flow freely through the specified test orifice
